Classic! Met these two guys (Matthew and James) at a dinner at SXSW and we went to this Tumblr party. I laughed when I saw this picture because if you were there, the setting was SO budget, but the photo came out great!
What happens when you mix an open bar with hundreds of Tumble-geeks, (and a couple of Tumblettes)? Well, it ‘aint pretty. Last Sunday, Tumblr threw a party in Austin Cedar’s Bar in honor of SXSW and we are still coming off from the buzz. With the favorable guy-to-girl ratio (about 10 to 1), we had more than enough opportunity to mingle with our favorite nerd boys like Tumblr founder David Karp, College Humor’s Ricky Van Veen, Four Square founder Dennis Crowley, and Wine Library TV’s Gary Vaynerchuk (who came with 40 cases of wine-reinforcements).
