Is it just me or is this Iran situation eerily similar to Team America w/ Hans & Kim Jong II?
I was just catching up on this Iran situation in the news where global leaders were meeting in Switzerland to strongly talk to Iran about complying with the UN.And, I am thinking - haven’t I seen this before (much like deja vu). And, then it occurs to me. Yes! I have seen this almost exact scene played out before. Courtesy of Team America: World Police made by Trey Parker & Matt Stone.
All you have to do is swap out Kim Jong with Iran and you are pretty much watching the exact situation.
Hans Blix in Kim Jong Il’s palace
Hans Blix: Let me look around, so I can ease the UN’s collective mind.
Kim Jong Il: Hans, ya-breakin’ my balls here, Hans, ya breakin’ my balls!
Hans Blix: I’m sorry, but the UN must be firm with you. Let me see your whole palace, or else…
Kim Jong Il: Or erse what?
Hans Blix: Or else we will be very, very angry with you… And we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are.
